What the art does not tell you about the artist

The Early Years
I was born in Saxony, Germany, home to the artist Will Schestak, my great-grandfather. My family relocated after a few years to live at the Bavarian-Austrian border and I grew up among the rugged limestone ranges of the Alps.

First Artwork
While attending an Austrian High School I began to explore art on my own, experimenting with both realistic and imaginary themes. Storytelling quickly grew to an essential part of my creative work. At that time I came across Welsh mythology and developed a great artistic interest in The Mabinogion and similar stories.
Summer 2026
FIRST PUBLIC EXHIBITION
Being a proud member of the An Talla Solais Gallery in Ullapool I took the opportunity to display my work at the annual Member’s Show. It was an honour to see it hung among the positions of more established artists and to support the community in the process.
